All duties and functions as assigned under the Karachi Port Trust Act, 1886 will be carried out by the chosen KPT
Chairman. Ensuring KPT’s alignment with national maritime aims requires supervision of strategic operations,
policy execution, port expansion, and general administration.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Master’s degree from HEC recognised university in one of the following fields:
Management Sciences
Administrative Sciences
Social Sciences
Natural Sciences
Engineering
Information Technology
MBA/MPA
Professional Experience
Minimum 9 years post-qualification experience in executive roles within reputable
public or private sector organizations.
At least 5 years’ experience at a senior management level is mandatory.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior port management experience.
Age Limit
The candidate must be under 62 years of age on the closing date of application.
