The Directorate General of Archaeology, beneath the Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab jobs, is attracting applications from talented and experienced professionals (Male/Female) for its ADP project “Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology.” These positions are virtually on a project basis, with an extent up to 30 June 2027 or up to when the project is completed.

Jobs Description
The selected applicants will play a vital role in heritage destruction, documentation, conservation planning, and helping cultural tourism. They will work carefully with experts to protect Punjab’s historical sites, evaluate the impact of development on heritage, and visually document imperative archaeological assets.
Available Jobs Positions
- Heritage Specialist (PPS-07)
- Rs. 275,000 per month in a lump sum.
- 35 to 45 years is the age restriction.
- Opening: 01
Master’s degree (16 years of study) in History, Archeology, Architecture, Heritage Management, or a similar discipline qualifies one.
Experience: Minimum 7 years in heritage management, including conservation and promotion of cultural heritage sites. It is preferable to have experience in community involvement and heritage tourism.

Heritage Impact Assessment (PPS07)
- Monthly salary: Rs. 190,000 (lump sum)
25 to 35 years is the age limit.
- Vacancies: 01
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized university with PEC registration qualifies one.
- Minimum five years of heritage impact assessment and site restoration experience. Understanding Pakistani heritage legislation is imperative. Desirable is a master’s degree or certification in HIA.

Photographer, PPS05
- Salary: Rs. 100,000 per month; lump sum
- Age Threshold: 25–35 years
- Available positions: 01
– A three-year photography diploma from a reputable university qualifies one.
Experience: Minimum five years of experience, preferably in heritage photography inside of Pakistan.
Standards of eligibility
- Must have Punjab residence.
- Meet the experience and educational standards for the appropriate position.
- Government or semi-government personnel must apply using an NOC.
For the length of the project, positions are no pensionable, not transferable, and only temporary.
